Last Sunday we shot some pictures for Tarte Femme an upcoming line of costume lingerie and hair wear.The pictures look amazing thanks to Sam Hon!These are just the raw images.Can't wait to see the final drafts!

I began performing and training in classical ballet from a very young age. I have trained with many companies around the country including: American Ballet Theatre, The Washington Ballet, The Richmond Ballet, and The Pennsylvania Ballet. From this foundation, I grew to appreciate and study many other forms of dance including Modern, Breaking, Housing, and Waacking.

More recently I have discovered and embraced my passion for the circus arts: including hooping, aerial silks and lyra.

Gabrielle Angeles AKA "TearDrop" aka "GumDrop"-Although born in Detroit, her early years were spent in the Philippines where her front door literally led to the dance floor(She lived w/ her dad behind her Aunt's dance studio!). Beginning with Ballet, her movement vocabulary has grown to include a wide range of styles with a current focus on Aerial Arts. Her love of performance and travel led her to places such as Palau, Japan, and eventually to Hawaii where she received an Artist Fellowship to train and perform Japanese Taiko Drumming with The Kenny Endo Taiko Ensemble. Now back in LA, Gabrielle is currently part of an all female dance crew "The Syrenz" which performs all Hip Hop Funk styles such as Waacking, Locking, Breaking, House dance, New Jack, and Hip Hop choreo.

Wendy Lam, aka WenStorm, is versed in a diverse range of dance styles, with a focus on Bgirling and Aerial Arts. She has battled in bboy/bgirl competitions all over the world, including Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Hawaii, California, and Australia. She represents a female crew called The Syrenz, which performs all Hip Hop Funk styles including Waacking, Locking, House dance, New Jack, Breaking and Hip Hop choreo. WenStorm has been seen on Avril Lavinge's Best Damn Tour, Black Eye Peas "The End" viral, Justin Bieber and Usher's "Somebody to Love" Music Video, and recently on "1000 Ways to Die".
